Kwaku Azar, Ama Governor, behind 2 of 3 petitions for the removal of CJ

Information available to Whispers Media Network from a deep throat within the corridors of power has disclosed two of the personalities who have petitioned President John Dramani Mahama to remove the Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkornoo.

The source states that Professor Kwaku Asare, popularly known as, Kwaku Azar is one of the petitioners. His petition, according to our source, contains the same facts of the very matters he presented to President Akufo-Addo in 2024 which was subsequently dismissed for not meeting the required threshold.

Ama Governor is another petitioner who seeks the impeachment of the Chief Justice for stated ‘crimes’ Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo is alleged to have committed.

WMN can also disclose that Ama Governor’s petition was written by Speaker Bagbin’s lawyer, Thaddeus Sory. His motivation for being the author of the young lawyer’s petition is obvious.

Three Ghanaians were recently reported to have petitioned President Mahama to remove the Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkornoo from office.

The President has subsequently submitted the petitions to the Council of State to establish prima facie of the allegations against the Chief Justice.

Whispers Media Network will update the Ghanaian public should the third petitioner’s name pop up.
